This full-day tour will take you to three beautiful cities of the south-central part of Cuba and through the mountains of the Sierra Escambray.

On the way south you will see the Giant Crab and Bicycle Monuments in Cardenas, the baseball stadium, the old sugar factory in Coliseo, the city of Jovellanos, many different plantations (citrus, guava, mango, papaya, sweet potatoes, sugarcane) and rural schools in Jaguey. You will then reach the city of Santa Clara where you will visit the Armoured Train Museum, and the Memorial Monument and Mausoleum of Che Guevara, a national hero of the modern Cuban revolution.

The tour continues towards Trinidad with beautiful views of the Escambray mountain range. You will do a panoramic tour of Trindad (declared a Unesco World Heritage Site), and a walking tour in the historical center of the city (Old Trinidad) where you can see the Plaza Mayor, the Plaza Jigue, the church, the house of Pottery Maker and the craft market. You can try a Canchanchara which is a traditional cocktail of the region.

After lunch you will have free time to visit the Cantero Palace which is home to the Municipal Museum, and to do some shopping. Then back on the road to admire the amazing views of the Escambray Mountain Range and the Caribbean Sea before reaching Cienfuegos (a.k.a. the Jewel of the South). You will do a panoramic city tour to admire its beautiful colonial architecture and many cultural and historical landmarks, such as: the University, the urban development, the Prado promenade, Punta Gorda with views of Del Valle Palace, Jagua Castle, and the Cienfuegos Bay (the largest bay in Cuba). And then back to Varadero early evening.
