This excursion will take you to the western part of the island to the province of Pinar del Rio where the finest tobacco is grown. Located between two mountain ranges (Sierra de Los Organos and the Sierra del Rosario), the Vinales Valley offers breathtaking views with its green tobacco field, red soil and mogotes formations (rounded steep-hill made of limestone and surrounded by flat plains).

This excursion includes a tour of the Vinales Valley where you will visit a tobacco farm, a visit to the Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) where you will do a boat through its underground waters, and a photo stop at the archeological mural. After a typical Cuban lunch you will visit a hand-made cigars factory and a rum factory, and do a panoramic tour of the city of Pinar del Rio before heading back to Varadero.
