The Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort features 438 rooms sprawling along the beautiful beach of the Hicacos Peninsula (a.k.a Varadero Peninsula). The property is owned by the Cuban Gaviota Group and the Indonesia-based Archipelago International, one of Asia’s fastest growing hotel management companies, has secured a contract with Gaviota Group to manage this new resort.

It will be an all-inclusive 5-star resort that caters to people of all ages, with a wide variety of leisure and activity services.

Varadero, the largest beach-resort in Cuba, is located in the province of Matanzas, on the long and narrow Hicacos Peninsula between the Straits of Florida (Atlantic Ocean) and the Bay of Cardenas, on the northern coast of the main island of Cuba. Varadero is about 140 km (93 miles) from Havana and about 32 km (21 miles) from Matanzas City.
