Getting Around – Domestic Flights

Cubana Airlines | Aerogaviota | Aerocaribbean Three Cuban airlines operate domestic (internal) flights within Cuba:

- Cubana Airlines
- Aerogaviota
- Aero Caribbean

Tickets can be bought online or through any local travel agencies such as: Havanatur, Gaviota Tours, Cubatur, Cubanacan, etc.

These flights connect most major Cuban cities and tourist areas. But the choices of domestic flights available to/from Varadero are somewhat limited. So if you are vacationing in Varadero and plan to travel within Cuba by plane, your best option would probably be to go to Havana, and from there you’ll be able to fly to many more places, such as: Santiago de Cuba, Holguin, Nueva Gerona (Isla de la Juventud), Cayo Coco, Baracoa, Camaguey, Guantanamo, Cayo Las Brujas (Cayo Santa Maria), Santa Clara, Cayo Largo, etc.
